Vegas Getaway!

Shane and I took a trip to Vegas for our Anniversary again this year. This time we stayed at the Paris. We bought the Buffet of Buffets pass so we could go to as many buffets as we wanted in 24 hours. More food than you could ever want, but fun to try everything that looks good!

We walked all over the place looking at things and getting tickets for all the shows we wanted to see. I think we did a couple marathons worth of walking. -At least we could work off the buffets!  Here we are having a break at the Miracle Mile shops in Planet Hollywood. We were starving. This was not a buffet day.

If you only knew how hard it was to get this picture. . . .  It was so funny. We were crying from laughing so hard. Let's just say Shane's eyes didn't cooperate with a self portrait. They were always closed. At least it entertained us while we waited for the Billagio fountains to go off.

On this trip we saw La Reve which was really cool.  Human Nature was great. Those guys were very talented. And we also had to see the last Harry Potter!! We also spent as much time as possible by the pool reading and relaxing. We always have fun hanging out together and getting re-energized to be mom and dad. I am so grateful for 16 years with my best friend!

4th of July with Real Salt Lake!

For the 4th of July this year we went to the Real Salt Lake game. Before the game started we went to Carnival Real and had a lot of fun. The kids got to bounce, we got some free stuff like hair cuts, Real towels, and I did karaoke to a Journey song for free Journey concert tickets!

Maria came with us and we had a great time!  We went to this game for a special reason. Hallie's soccer team got to be the "Dream Team" and got to walk out on the field with the Real players! She was so excited. We live next door to Andy Williams #77 on the team. Hallie was really hoping he would start that day and that she would be able to hold his hand to walk out on the field!

She got her wish!! We were so excited that it worked out for her to walk out with him. (it did help that he told her to be last in line under the tunnel because if he started he is always last) We were glad for the inside information.

Shane got some good pictures, even though we were far away.

Here is everyone but Hallie turning to do the National Anthem. We aren't sure why she didn't turn, but she looks cute all the same. After the game there were a few fireworks in the stadium. We got done with the game in time to get to our car and see the Sandy city fireworks. It was a great family day!
