Viron Retires!

Shane's dad retired last week from teaching. He taught at the same Jr High for 29 years! His school was so nice they gave him a big basket of goodies and a photo album full of pictures from all yearbooks through the years!

All the students surprised him and they wore T's on their shirts that day to honor his retirement. Some kids even had pictures of him on their shirts that they had printed off the internet! It was really fun to see how much they love him at the school!

After an assembly they had Viron come up to honor his time at the school! The student body president talked about him for a minute-Viron had also taught both her parents! They played "Eye of the tiger" because he used to play that on the bus before football games. We were really glad that the school called us and invited us to the assembly. It was neat to see all they did for him and how much the students still love him.

Christmas 2009

This was our table for Christmas Eve. We had my sister Dana and her family over for dinner like we have for several years. We also had Shane's mom this year. I got domestic and made two kinds of soup from scratch! Taco soup and Creamy Chicken Noodle (yes, I made the noodles too!). We had some other appetizers and it was all delicious! We played Santa bingo, and had a talent show and I think everyone had a great time!

Santa sure thought my kids were good this year! This is the tree on Christmas morning just before we opened presents! Everyone was happy with their gifts. Our big gifts this year were Rock Band for the Wii, and a trip to Disneyland! Natalie got a touch MP3 player, Hallie got a doll she was dying for because it's name was Hally and it looked like her, Abbie got DS games, and Jace got a remote control Jeep. We had a happy and fun day!

These are the kids before they came downstairs to open gifts! They look tired because "They didn't sleep all night!" The funny thing is they were all sound asleep by 11:00!

Jace's First Preschool Program

Better late than never I guess, but here are some pictures from the week before Christmas! Here is Jace sitting on Santa's lap, and here is what he had to say: "I am Jace Cullen Toponce and I want a monster truck, a DS, and a sleigh full of toys just like yours!"

I thought getting the sleigh full of toys was a really smart idea! All of the parents laughed and told me good luck with his list!

Here is my cute boy singing all his Christmas songs. He sang songs all month long and said he learned them at school, so we were excited to see what he had really learned! Surprisingly, he was singing a lot of songs to us that he didn't sing in the program and we don't know where he learned them!
