Shane's dad retired last week from teaching. He taught at the same Jr High for 29 years!
His school was so nice they gave him a big basket of goodies and a photo album full of pictures from all yearbooks through the years!
All the students surprised him and they wore T's on their shirts that day to honor his retirement. Some kids even had pictures of him on their shirts that they had printed off the
internet! It was really fun to see how much they love him at the school!
After an assembly they had
Viron come up to honor his time at the school! The student body president talked about him for a minute-
Viron had also taught both her parents! They played "Eye of the tiger" because he used to play that on the bus before football games. We were really glad that the school called us and invited us to the assembly. It was neat to see all they did for him and how much the students still love him.

very cool. I am glad they did all of those fun things for him. what an accomplishment to teach jr high for that long.
