Thanksgiving 2014

We hosted Thanksgiving this year.

I love having everyone over for dinner. We ate and then we went bowling. That is always so fun.

Then we came back for pie!! It was a fun family day!

Abbie hits double digits!

My baby girl turned 10! How did that happen?

Abbie is such a fun happy girl. She is full of laughs and energy!

She brings a lot of joy around here!

She got all the things she dreamed of. Boots, heelies, water bottle, clothes, and money.

Spoiled and happy girl!

Guess who turned 40?

Oh yea, me! I can't believe I am that old! I woke up to find that Shane and Natalie and Hallie had decorated the house!

I thought that was a great surprise and gift.

Because he had to work on my birthday, Shane had already gathered all our friends the Saturday before to surprise me at Brick Oven for dinner. They sang so loud as I walked in that I am sure they heard it at the next restaurant over! I was impressed that Shane had gotten it all organized. I felt loved.

I thought I had a great birthday celebrattion with just those things.

But there was more!

Shane did good I tell you. What an awesome husband I have.

My day was just beginning.

I had presents to open at certain times through day and activities to do.

Abbie and Jace were off track, so we got to have a fun day together.

I had things to do all day, places to go, lunch to get, shows to watch, and clothes to open. It was so very fun and I had a great day!!! Thank you Shane. I love you!

Grizzly and Wolf Discovery center

We went to the Grizzly and Wolf discovery center for the first time.

We usually just see what we can find out in nature, but it was really fun to show the kids these animals up close.

Thanks to Jean and Jane for buying our tickets. Their generosity know no bounds.

She loved watching the wolves and taking a ton of pictures on her phone.

It was a really great place to see. I am glad we checked it out. I would recommend it to people that want an up close look.

Yellowstone Park

We went on the traditional Yellowstone trip after missing it for a couple years.

It was so fun to be up in the beauty of that place and spend time with family.

 It was fun to be with my parents and Shanntel.

And my aunts and uncle. They are some of the best people in the world. I love them so much!

We spent a lot of one day watching a bear eat a dear. This is a 27 year old Grizzly that the rangers keep an eye on. We also watched him move along a ridge. He was so fast.

We always love watching elk in mammoth.

This is a bad picture, but we got to see some big horn sheep. They are a little more elusive. This whole trip was really fun. It was so great to get away and enjoy.

BYU football!!

We took Jace and Maria to their first college football game ever!

We got some great seats down by the field!

 They were great tickets to get. The BYU v. Utah game is the biggest game of the year. It was so great that Shane was given some tickets.

Go cougars!!

Jace was so excited and this was the look he had on his face most of the game. Even though we lost.
