Hallie the story teller!

Hallie and her friend Cora signed up for a storytelling competition at their school. They told the story "The Rooster Who Refused to Crow." They did such a great job at their school! They won first place and they were asked to go to the district storytelling festival. They were really excited and nervous to tell their story in front of more people.

They did such a great job! I was so proud of Hallie for doing this. She is usually afraid of doing things in public or when adults are involved. She doesn't even dare ask for a refill of her drink at a restaurant.

I was so very happy that her first attempt at something like this turned out to be so positive. She was so proud of herself and the success. Hopefully she will have more confidence to try things in the future!! Great job my cute girl!!
