Halloween Cupcakes

Here is my sad attempt at creativity. My friend made spiderweb cookies, so I went for cupcakes. Not too pretty, but luckily kids are easy to impress! They loved them.
I have been away from blogging and anything beyond basic functioning lately, so I was glad to have some energy to do something for the kids. Keep reading to see a few other things we have been doing lately.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch the other day for Jace's school field trip. Seems like I have done that field trip a million times, but Jace was loving it. They had a ton of tractors lined up to play on so he was in heaven.

He kept saying "Is this my field trip? I like it here! Abbie do you like my field trip? I let you come with me!"

T BALL

This was Jace's first year at TBall. He looked so cute as a member of the Giants. He was so excited to get a new hat. He also loved when he had a turn to bat. And that was it. He didn't like the rest of it. In fact half way through each game he said "I'm done let's go home."
I think it was a lot for these little boys to take in, but he had fun and loves to show off his trophy!

What a cute boy huh!?!

Crazy Hair Day 2009

This was Abbie's first crazy hair day and she was loving herself today. She wanted me to do her hair like Nat and Hallie's, but she wanted a bun in the front.
I forgot about taking a picture of the older two until after school, so they look even crazier than they did this morning! They all have a similar thing going on, but with a few variations-of course we can't be the "same" as our sisters at this house!
It is fun to see the kids get so excited to get to school to show off their creative ideas!

Jace's First Day of Prescool

Jace was so excited to start school. On the first day of school he had to have his hair in a mowhawk. When we got up to the front of the school he took off his seatbelt and started to open the car door before I could stop all the way. I told him to wait because he didn't know where to go and he said: "Mom the gate is open-I can tell it is in the backyard" I then told Mr All Knowing that I was supposed to go in for the first 15 minutes. And he said "I guess you can come if you have to." We are a couple weeks in and he is loving every minute!

Hallie's 9th Birthday!!

Hallie turned 9 yesterday! She was so excited it was funny! She kept saying she couldn't sleep for days leading up to it. I made her a red velvet cake and the candles are sparklers. I don't make pretty cakes. I should work on that.
Here she is opening her Aeropostale hoodie. She wanted clothes, jewelry, a zhu zhu pet, and a $20 dollar bill(not a check). She got everything she wanted thanks to nice parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles! One spoiled little girl! Here are the kids piling on Shane while we waited for the party to start. Too cute not to post!

Salon Day Birthday Party!

Hallie turned 9 this week and for her party we took the girls to the Echelon School of Hair and Nails to get makeovers. They are a girly bunch to begin with so this was right up their alley! Here is a before shot of Alanna, Kennedy, Hallie, Emily, and Gretchen. And the beauties after! They got hair, makeup, and nails done!
Here is their hair from the back! We wanted to get the full effect of the work!

Here are the girls enjoying their ice cream sundae bar at our house afterward!
I think Hallie has found a darling bunch of friends and they are just too cute for words. Take a look at some future heartbreakers!
