Irrigation Fun!

Yesterday we went to my Aunt Cindy and Uncle Dean's house in Orem to play in the irrigation. It is something I did as a kid and it is something my kids love. Who wouldn't! My Uncle Dean just gets in and gets wild with the kids like it is a new adventure every time, he pulls them on sleds and has water fights and gets tackeled and loves every minute! You would never know he was in his 60s! Cindy and Dean are always so welcoming to anyone and I love being around them.

Abbie and Jace are sitting on a fun swing under the grape arbor. I have spent a lot of time there throughout my life and it is fun to see them loving it like I do.

Thanks for all the fun that we always have at the Schauerhamer's house!

The 24th at Bear Lake!

Here we are setting up the tent we haven't used in 4 years!

Having fun in the beautiful bear lake! It wasn't even that cold when you got used to it!

We had a "famous raspberry shake" at dinner and Shane made us a great breakfast. It was so fun to have Shane off for two days in a row it is a RARE treat for us, so we took advantage of it.

July Festivities-Part 3

Here we are at our annual trip to Cherry Hill! Shane and I always take the kids here for our own little family fun day. Most of the time we take our trailer, but this time we had just used it so we just went for the day. We love it. We get there before the doors open and stay till the kids are done! This year was more crowded than usual, because of a McKay Dee hospital work party so it was packed. We had a great time anyway and we discovered that Jace is a little fish!

July Festivities-Part 2

On July 5th we went to Spanish Fork Canyon for my Grandma and Grandpa Headmans 60th wedding anniversary. There were over 80 paople there and we had a great time together. It was so fun to see my cousins and have time to sit and visit with them. Here is a picture of some of their great granddaughters showing off some necklaces they made. We have some pretty good genes running through the family I think. Look how cute they all are!
This is a picture of Natalie getting ready to sing a song for the family talent show, Shane is playing the piano for her.The whole trip was great except for a little incident I had while pulling our trailer home!

July Festivities-Part 1

Ok now on to July! I am just going to get caught up on our summer real quick. Hopefully it isn't too much for you readers to handle:) I just want to document it all so I can pretend that this is my journal! It makes it time well spent.

4th of July was spent in Provo at my Aunt Jane's (she is my dad's younger sister) she lives just outside the BYU Stadium and so we see most of the stadium of fire and we enjoy a great barbecue and homemade ice cream! I love my aunts they are the BEST! My parents and all my siblings but one brother were there for the fun. It was nice to see them all and spend time together before our family reunion with my moms side of the family.

Herriman Days

Here we are waiting for the parade to start. It is a family tradition to watch it with our friends the Eskelsons and the Schuts. A lot of kids for 3 families, but we have a great time together! Natalie and her glow necklace.
Hallie waiting for the fireworks to start.
Abbie and her fabulous fake smile!

Jace waiting for fireworks in his favorite hat! After the parade we go to the carnival, then we meet the same families at the park at night to listen to a concert and watch the fireworks, it is a long day but it is very fun!

Back in June but worth a post!

We flew to Los Angeles to see WICKED. It was so awesome. I am counting down the days until I can buy tickets for the Salt Lake run.

Then Shane and I went on our first cruise. I can say I am addicted and we are going to be cruisers! We went to the Mexican Riveria which included stops in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Villarta! Thanks to my mom we had 7 Days without the kids and didn't need to worry. It was a great trip and it was wonderful to know that yes, after 13 years we could spend 7 days together and enjoy every minute of it. I love my sweet husband and I am glad we got the chance to go. Besides it gave me something worthwhile to blog about!
