Hallie has been excited to get her ears pierced for a couple years now. I told the kids they could get them done when they turn eight. Today when it was time to get them done she started getting more and more nervous.
She was ok when we first sat down, but the longer we were there the more upset she got. She even had the other people shopping in the store gathering around to tell her she would be ok. It was a little rough, but now that they don't hurt anymore we catch her looking at herself in the mirror all the time! She loves how she looks! Happy birthday Hallie!

It's so good to hear 8 as the ear piercing age! BJ wants ashlyn to wait till she's 12 like his sisters had to, but I was 8 and he thinks that is too young. whatever. i'm the boss. congrats hal! happy bday!
